Privacy protection on websites by JALIS

You can visit our websites without having to reveal any personal information. Only the connexion data (cf. “Data collected by JALIS”) is used by JALIS for statistical purposes to enrich the editorial content and to adapt it to the needs of the internet users.
Personal data (login, surname, name, email address, etc…) can be occasionally collected, for example during inquiries about a property via the contact page or when logging into to your account. The data you agree to convey to us allows us to respond to your requests and to your enquiries about our company and our services.
The personal data kept will only be preserved for the duration required to perform the function for which this information was obtained and are used in compliance with legal obligations. The personal data collected are neither communicated nor given to third parties. The JALIS staff have restricted access to this data and are informed about the confidentiality of the data.
No nominative data is collected without your knowledge.

Audience measurement on our client’s websites
JALIS provides a remote intelligent service (Software as a Service, SaaS) to measure the audience on the websites, Intranet, mobiles and mobile apps. JALIS therefore provides its customers with a computer solution, via the Internet, which allows them to collect online their data statistics of attendance and which are subsequently retrieved in an aggregated and anonymous way in a web interface to which only our clients have access. With the data collected, each client is able to improve the ergonomics of their site and improve the range of products or services they offer. This service is therefore used by branches as well as marketing, editorial or technical departments of the companies or organizations that contracted our services. JALIS reminds its customers that they must also, for the data collected by JALIS and of which they are ultimately owners, proceed to the declarations of treatment of the personal data with the competent administrations and the necessary legal formalities.

Data collected by JALIS

During the visit of an Internet user on a support audited by one of its solutions, JALIS collects statistical data of frequentation. The data collected is data related, for example, to the browser used, the number of pages viewed, the number of visits, the path of the user on a site, the time spent on a site, a webpage, etc.
No personal primary data (surname, first name, phone, address, ...) is collected at our initiative when performing the service provided by JALIS solutions.
Only two types of secondary data (that is, data that cannot be ruled out in some cases can be traced back to an individual) are collected by JALIS solutions, the cookie and the IP.

Cookie and Unique Visitor:
A "cookie" is a text file that records information relating to the internet user's browsing. He is under the control of the browser.
For Internet users, "cookies" are the best way to customize their browsing. They often allow them to avoid the repetition of commercials, questions, but also to save time on sites where it is necessary to enter a username and / or password.

For JALIS, "cookies" make it possible to obtain more detailed and relevant statistical information. The use of cookies only makes it possible to refine the analysis of JavaScript markers by recognizing a visitor as being unique during his various visits (knowing that he is the same Internet user without knowing who he is).
These "cookies" store only a unique alphanumeric identifier specific to a device of the Internet user and are in no way used to collect nominative information about visitors.
All results obtained are compiled and completely anonymous. They focus on navigation and behaviour: number of visitors, visits, page views and other information needed to measure the interests of Internet users. They therefore make it possible to improve the ergonomics and the content of the sites visited.
Last technological point, JALIS solutions can use the so-called "first party" cookie (that is to say, issued by the URL of the audited site and JALIS client) just like the "third party" (issued by one URL belonging to JALIS: google.com) according to the needs expressed by its customers. In either case, the purpose stated above remains the same and no personal data is collected via these cookies.

IP and Geolocation:
During the data collection and processing process, JALIS uses the Internet user's IP for the sole purpose of geolocating its connection device (regional accuracy or even at city level for some countries).
To ensure better privacy, JALIS also offers these customers to anonymize the IP address: the last three digits of the IP address are immediately erased after the collection and before any geolocation operation.
The anonymization of the IP address is by default applied to the IP address of Internet users visiting the sites of JALIS customers.
In order to protect this data, JALIS keeps full and truncated IP addresses only for a limited period of time (6 months), in encrypted form and without ever returning them in the client interface or any other place of the company.

Geolocation of mobile devices:

JALIS has developed a geolocation technology for mobile devices based on GPS coordinates, truncated at 2 digits after the decimal point. These coordinates are converted into a graphical representation (geographical map with heatmap); they never appear unencrypted in the interface of our customers.
The geolocation of mobile devices also meets a double opt-in very strict. You can either disable geolocation for the entire mobile device or by application. JALIS customers wishing to use the geolocation functionalities undertake to implement this opt-in and to respect the choice of users as well as their rights of access, rectification and deletion.

Obligation of information of Net surfers on the existence of the service of measure of hearing

JALIS customers commit themselves to inform their Internet users of the existence of the processing carried out by JALIS as well as their rights of access, rectification, opposition and deletion to personal data (IP and Cookie) concerning them, as well as the possibility of Opt-out detailed below.
For example, the customer may include on his website the following message: "In order to better serve you, we measure the number of pages viewed, the number of visits, as well as the activity of visitors to the site and their frequency of return, thanks to JALIS solutions. If you do not wish to be audited, you can refer to JALIS' privacy page and follow the instructions provided. It may also include an Opt-out iframe on its own website.

Right of access, rectification and deletion

Any Internet user of the JALIS websites or the customer site audited by the JALIS audience measurement solution, has the right to access, rectify and delete the personal data collected by JALIS concerning the customer. For the exercise of these rights, the Internet user is invited to contact us:
